Are you a fan of social app Flipboard? If so, your mobile addiction may be set to take a dramatic turn. Facebook has just announced Facebook Paper, an app that provides an entirely new way to view and consume your Facebook content.
It features an UI and browsing experience that bears similarities to that of Flipboard, and it could be set to change Facebook on mobile forever.
We can confirm that the Facebook Paper app release date is February 3, but once again we have a situation where there doesn’t appear to be a Facebook Paper App Android release date in sight. That February 3 date relates to iOS only, with no word from Facebook when the Android version will be ready.
This may be harder to take when we tell how impressive the app is looking from first impressions. This new visual approach to Facebook could actually replace the standard app altogether, although there are some concerns on whether Facebook will choose to introduce ads to Paper in the near future – for now it’s free and remains cleansed of ads.
Are you tired of waiting around for Android versions?
Just how long will Android users be waiting though? We told you about the frustration recently with another high in-demand app on Android calledQuizUp, but keeping Android users waiting for Paper could be an even bitter pill to swallow.
Some of you have already been making your thoughts heard:
Facebook's android team is far, far larger than their iOS team yet they launch Paper on iOS. Funny, that.

Paper is Facebook's way of saying "Forgive me?" to Apple for that whole Facebook Home thing on Android.

The longer the wait goes on, the more pressure Facebook is going to feel. Let us know your initial reactions about Facebook Paper – you can read about the app in detail here.
